MS in Accounting

Fairfield Dolan's Master of Science in Accounting has designated tracks in assurance, tax, and accounting information systems, and addresses most states' educational requirements for CPA certification.

MA in Bilingual Education

Fairfield's Bilingual Education programs are designed for in-service teachers. The bilingual cross-endorsements prepare elementary and secondary teachers to teach grade-level academic curriculum in a language other than English.

MS in Biomedical Engineering

Fairfield’s Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering focuses on the application of engineering principles and design concepts to address medical, biological, or healthcare needs. Students gain theoretical knowledge with hands-on experiential learning and practical industry application.

Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (Executive DBA)

The Fairfield Dolan three-year, part-time hybrid Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (Executive DBA) program is designed for experienced working professionals looking to enhance their careers with a terminal business degree.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Fairfield Dolan's customizable MBA program prepares students with the diverse skills required for business leadership. Students gain a broad foundation of knowledge with the opportunity to specialize in a functional area of business.

MBA/MSBA Dual Degree Program

Fairfield Dolan’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) dual degree combines foundational business skills with specialized knowledge of data management and analytics. The program prepares professionals with data analytics and strategic management skills so they stand out in today’s competitive job market.

MS in Business Analytics

Fairfield Dolan's Master of Science in Business Analytics program is designed for busy professionals who want to propel their organizations forward through sound strategic decisions based on a keen understanding of data and statistical methods.

MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

The Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's degree offers counseling courses under the guidance of a nationally recognized faculty dedicated to your career endeavors. Students can pursue a 60-hour Master of Arts  degree in clinical mental health counseling or a Certificate of Advanced Study degree in clinical mental health counseling.

Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition

This doctoral program prepares graduates to become registered dietitian nutritionists who are leaders in the profession. Graduates expand the knowledge of clinical nutrition to improve health outcomes with particular attention to the needs of underserved or vulnerable populations.

MA in Communication

Fairfield University's Master of Arts in Communication emphasizes theory, research, and application to examine the ways humans communicate—verbally and nonverbally—across a variety of levels and contexts. Student work with a faculty advisor to tailor their curriculum to their professional and academic interests.

MFA in Creative Writing

Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writings students can pursue the study of fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and scriptwriting/playwriting, as well as concentrations in publishing/editing, social justice, spiritual writing, or literary health and healing. 

MS in Cybersecurity

Fairfield’s Master of Science in Cybersecurity degree is offered through the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, and allows students from any background to choose a concentration in either cybersecurity management or technology.

MS in Data Science

The School of Engineering's MS in Data Science is an interdisciplinary program that equips students from a broad range of professional domains with the scientific methods, processes, and systems to extract knowledge and insights from data in structured and unstructured forms.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Anesthesia

Fairfield Egan's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in nurse anesthesia concentration prepares students as expert clinicians for every setting in which anesthesia is delivered to patients. In addition to becoming skilled clinicians, graduates are prepared to be healthcare leaders who can care for a variety of patients within their specialty.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Family Nurse Practitioner

Fairfield Egan's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a clinically-focused degree that prepares graduates to evaluate and apply existing evidence to improve practice outcomes. Students are educated in the fundamental skills necessary to make a difference in healthcare.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Midwifery

Fairfield Egan's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Midwifery is a degree that focuses on the assessment and application of existing evidence to improve practice. The program prepares students as expert nurse midwives for every stage and in every setting in which midwifery care is delivered to women.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Fairfield Egan's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) is a clinically focused doctorate degree and the only advanced practice specialty that prepares nurses to assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.

Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership

The Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership program is designed for experienced educators, such as classroom teachers, school psychologists, math coaches, or reading interventionists, who have a desire to lead from within and across classrooms to transform education.

MA in Educational Technology & School Library Media

The Master of Arts in Educational Technology & School Library Media is tailored to the needs of working professionals, and provides initial and advanced training in integrating technology into a wide variety of teaching environments. Students will be trained as teachers, co-teachers, consultants in schools and organizations, and for professional development positions.

MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering

Fairfield University's Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) provides students with the knowledge and skills to innovate and lead in their chosen discipline, all within the framework of research and development in academic institutions, the industrial workplace, research laboratories or service organizations.

MA in Elementary Education

Fairfield's Educational Studies and Teacher Preparation Department offers graduate programs for new and experienced teachers in Elementary Education organized around reflective inquiry and socially responsible professional practice. Students can pursue a Master of Arts (MA) or a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS).

Master's Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN)

Fairfield Egan's Accelerated Master’s Entry to Practice Nursing (MEPN) program provides a unique opportunity for those with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in an accelerated format. The MEPN is the first such program in the state of Connecticut to prepare advanced generalists for registered nursing practice and leadership.

MSN Family Nurse Practitioner

Fairfield Egan's Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner track prepares students to manage the healthcare needs of individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases.

MA in Family Studies

Fairfield's Master of Arts in Family Studies is a non-clinical program within the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy. Graduates of the program may enter a variety of non-clinical human services vocations and/or pursue further advanced degrees in human and family development.

MS in Finance

Fairfield Dolan's STEM-designated Master of Science in Finance provides unique opportunities for individuals who want to further their careers in the areas of investments, corporate finance, and banking. It's especially useful for professionals seeking certification as a chartered financial analyst (CFA), certified financial manager (CFM), or a financial risk manager (FRM).

MS in Healthcare Administration

Fairfield Egan's versatile 42-credit Healthcare Administration program complements various fields of study — from nursing to science to business. Students take courses across a variety of disciplines including economics, accounting, healthcare systems, healthcare policy, information technology, marketing, finance, management, leadership roles, and more.

MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology

Fairfield's Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology educates students to apply psychological principles and techniques in the work environment that increase individual and organizational productivity. Students are challenged intellectually and receive a solid education in the theories, philosophies, and practices of this dynamic and growing field.

MA in Interior Design

Fairfield’s Master of Arts in Interior Design provides students with the necessary credentials, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience to earn their professional certification. Students receive individualized training from an experienced faculty of industry professionals, who teach them the technical skills to translate abstract concepts into three-dimensional reality.

MS in Management

Fairfield Dolan's Master of Science in Management (MSM) program is designed for non-business majors and provides recent college graduates with fundamental business knowledge and focused career development.

MS in Management of Technology

Fairfield's STEM-designated Master of Science in the Management of Technology (MSMOT) endows students with the knowledge, creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills to successfully manage technology enterprises of all kinds. Upon graduating, students have the confidence and skills to meet the most demanding management challenges that businesses face.

MS in Marketing Analytics and Strategy

Fairfield Dolan's STEM-designated Master of Science in Marketing Analytics and Strategy (MAS) program is designed to develop data-driven professionals who can use sophisticated methods to analyze consumer preferences and behavior.

MA in Marriage & Family Therapy

Fairfield's Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) educates candidates for careers as marriage and family therapists and is fully accredited with the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education. The curriculum and clinical training focuses on preparing students to work with diverse populations who have experienced a broad range of problems.

MS in Mathematics

Fairfield University’s STEM-designated Master of Science in Mathematics program teaches students the necessary theoretical skills to learn advanced mathematics, as well as the quantitative methods needed to apply these results to real world problems.

MS in Mechanical Engineering

Fairfield's STEM-designated Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) program is designed to serve the needs of practicing engineers, and those aspiring to an advanced degree in mechanical engineering and related specializations. Students have the option of specializing in one of two broad concentrations in thermal systems or mechanical systems.

MS in Nursing Leadership

Fairfield Egan's Master of Science in Nursing Leadership is an advanced education generalist degree. The program is ideal for graduate nurses who do not wish to be nurse practitioners but want to maximize career options in dynamic healthcare environments, including management, clinical nurse leaders, nurse navigators, care coordinators, hospital education, adjunct clinical faculty, quality improvement, risk management, and a variety of newly emerging roles.

Post-Master's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Fairfield Egan's Advanced Practice DNP is a clinical doctorate in an advanced specialty of nursing practice, comparable to clinical doctorates in other health disciplines such as pharmacy, physical therapy, and medicine. The Advance Practice MSN-DNP gives nurses the skills they need to excel in today's complex, challenging and ever-changing healthcare environment.

MBA/MAS Dual Degree Program

The dual degree Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Marketing Analytics and Strategy (MAS) was designed to respond to such needs to prepare professionals for the challenges of the 21st century.

MBA/MSBA Dual Degree Program

The MBA/MSBA dual degree prepares professionals with data analytics and strategic management skills so graduates stand out in today’s highly demanding and competitive job market. The 60-credit dual degree program is designed to help prepare students with both technology-driven skills and broad, strategic perspectives.

MBA/MSF Dual Degree Program

The dual degree Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Finance (MSF) was designed to fit this need help candidates stand out in the highly demanding and competitive hiring process.

MSF/MSBA Dual Degree Program

The dual degree of Master of Science in Finance (MSF) and Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) was designed to respond to such needs to prepare graduates for the challenges of the 21st century.

MSN/MBA Dual Degree Program

Fairfield’s interdisciplinary Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) dual degree program prepares nurses with the knowledge and experience required for executive leadership positions in healthcare organizations.

MSN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Fairfield Egan's Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program prepares students to assess, diagnose, and provide primary mental health care. Graduates go on to work in a wide array of specialties, including private practice, home care, emergency rooms, integrated behavioral clinics, community mental health centers, and even psychopharmacology.

Master in Public Administration (MPA)

Fairfield's state-accredited Master of Public Administration (MPA) examines pressing social, ethical, and professional issues, while developing strong leadership abilities for career advancement. Students pursue specializations in city/state management, emergency management, health administration, or non-profit management, and work with faculty advisors to tailor their curriculum to their professional goals.

Master in Public Health (MPH)

Fairfield Egan's Master of Public Health (MPH) leads students to one of many careers that are prevention-oriented, multi-disciplinary, and promote conditions to protect and improve the health of people and communities. The program is fully online and designed to meet criteria for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health. 

MA in School Counseling

Fairfield's Master of Arts in School Counseling degree offers counseling courses under the guidance of faculty who are nationally recognized in the field through their scholarship and active service in  professional organizations. Students can pursue a 48-hour Master of Arts (MA) degree in school counseling or a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) degree in school counseling.

MA in School Psychology

Fairfield's Master of Arts (MA) degree and Sixth Year Certificate (SYC) in School Psychology develop competencies in the areas of assessment, consultation, and direct intervention. During their time in the program, students evolve as professionals through classroom experiences, faculty support, and opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in school and clinical agencies.

MA in Secondary Education

Fairfield's Master of Arts in Secondary Education with initial 7-12 certification prepares students with the knowledge and skills needed for initial teaching licensure in one of five secondary subject areas: English, math, science, social studies/history, and world languages.

Master of Social Work (MSW)

The Master of Social Work (MSW) at Fairfield University is a clinical specialist program that focuses on the promotion of social justice and social change on behalf of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.

MS in Software Engineering

Fairfield's STEM-designated Master of Science in Software Engineering (MSSE) focuses on the skills in design, analysis, implementation, testing, and validation that engineers need to develop sophisticated and successful software projects.

MA in Special Education

Fairfield's Master of Arts in Special Education teaches professional instructors to apply specialized support to students with challenges through educational, social, cognitive, rehabilitative, and behavioral management approaches.

MA in Teaching & Foundations

Fairfield's Educational Studies and Teacher Preparation Department offers programs for educational professionals who want to deepen and expand their knowledge of teaching and learning in a socio-cultural context. Students may pursue a Master of Arts or a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS).

TESOL

Fairfield offers programs in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and bilingual education to prepare prospective and practicing teachers to educate K-12 students who are learning English as a second or additional language.

Applied Statistics Certificate

Fairfield’s applied statistics certificate program is designed for working professionals and graduate students interested in gaining a solid background in the fundamentals of statistics.

Business Analytics Certificate

Fairfield Dolan's Business Analytics Certificate is designed for working professionals who are in need of fundamental knowledge in the area of business analytics, either to better perform in a current position, or to become more marketable for a future role.

Business Essentials Graduate Certificate

Fairfield Dolan's Business Essentials Graduate Certificate is for students who have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in something other than business who now would like to gain basic business knowledge.

Classroom Technology Integration Certificate

This online certificate program was created to help educators of all backgrounds develop a foundational understanding of technology integration in the classroom and how to apply it effectively.

Creative Writing Certificate

This year-long, 12-credit certificate program provides creative writers of all levels with two semesters of rigorous, graduate-level, one-on-one mentorship to help them jumpstart or finish a book-length project.

Cybersecurity Certificate

Using hands-on training, Fairfield's online Cybersecurity certificate program teaches students to take on the mindset of a hacker so they can always stay one step ahead in maintaining secure systems.

Financial Mathematics Certificate

The Financial Mathematics certificate program is designed for financial professionals looking for a command of the mathematics and theory underlying finance. Participants acquire quantitative and qualitative skills and knowledge important to advancing careers in investment banking, hedge funds, and financial markets, and develop an understanding of the deep mathematics that underlie modern financial thinking and sophisticated financial instruments.

Fairfield's graduate certificate in interior design provides students with the necessary credentials, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience to develop a robust portfolio and earn their professional or residential certification in interior design.
