Visits & Interviews

The Office of Undergraduate Admission offers a variety of in-person and virtual visit opportunities for prospective students and their families to determine if Fairfield is the school for them. Our in-person visits are the best way to get a feel for campus life and learn more about our schools. Our virtual offerings are a convenient way to get to know Fairfield's campus community. We strongly encourage visitors to register for a visit in advance.

An interview in one of the single best ways for an applicant to stand out during the admission process. While optional, they are a great way to demonstrate your interest and help us get to know you better as an applicant. Interviews are conducted by a member of the admission team and can take place virtually or in person.

Experience Fairfield

Where you choose to attend college is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make - it's four years that can shape the rest of your life. And it's not always an easy choice, which is why we strive to make the application process as easy as possible.

To apply to Fairfield, simply complete the online Common Application. Because we choose to evaluate every applicant from a holistic standpoint, submitting your standardized test scores is optional.

If you have any questions, please contact the office of Undergraduate Admission at either admis@fairfield.edu or (203) 254-4100.

If you are applying for admission to the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies Second Degree Nursing Program, please apply through our online portal. Do not apply to this program through the Common Application.

Admission Process

The admission process at Fairfield University is holistic. Our belief in the importance of a thorough and careful review of all aspects of your application reflects our mission as a Jesuit institution. We seek to educate the whole person, and our admission practices reflect that goal.

Meet Our Admission Counselors
