Campus Visits

Take a first look at a second-to-none campus.

With easy access to major cities, interstates, airports, and train lines, Fairfield University is a convenient place to visit. We would love the opportunity to meet you in person and truly believe that visiting campus is the best way to get a sense of everything our University has to offer.

Select from our multitude of opportunities listed below, on campus or virtual. We are also excited to continue offering special visit opportunities for admitted students, which are available on our Admitted Students webpage.

Interviews, which are being conducted virtually until further notice, are another great way to learn everything you need to know about Fairfield. Although interviews are an evaluative part of the application process, please note that they are not required for admission.

Group Visits

Special Notice: Group visits are suspended for the indefinite future.

Thank you for your interest in Fairfield University. We are looking forward to welcoming your high school group to campus. In order to have the best experience, please follow the guidelines below:

General Guidelines

  • We are only able to accommodate groups of high school students during the academic year (September through May). Groups containing students younger than high school may be accommodated during the summer months as space allows.
  • Please allow at least three (3) weeks' notice for all group visit requests.
  • Due to high demand, alternative dates are appreciated.
  • The maximum number of students for a group visit is 30. For every 10 students, at least one (1) chaperone is required (see Chaperone Policy below).
  • Please wait to receive a confirmation e-mail before arranging travel plans.

Chaperone Policy

The Office of Undergraduate Admission requires that groups visiting campus have one (1) chaperone per every ten (10) students. We ask that chaperones remain with their students at all times. In order to have the best possible experience, we limit the groups to a maximum of 40 students. Unruly and/or disrespectful behavior will result in the immediate request to leave campus and the organization will forfeit the opportunity to return in the future.
