Commencement 2020

Fairfield University has postponed our 2020 Commencement exercises until the spring of 2021, with an exact date yet to be determined.

Please Note: The Class of 2020 will have its own special and distinct Commencement celebration in 2021.

We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to envision the details of the Class of 2020’s Commencement. We have diligently examined the State of Connecticut’s reopening guidelines, developed University-specific reopening plans, and evaluated what each would mean in order to achieve a Commencement weekend for our Class of 2020 graduates.

While we do not know for certain what the future will bring, we regret to announce that we have decided to postpone our 2020 Commencement exercises until the spring of 2021, with an exact date yet to be determined.
