Mind, Body, and Spirit - The RecPlex Mission Statement
The Recreation Department at Fairfield University aims to provide something for everyone. Through well-rounded sports and exercise programs, and well-maintained equipment, we strive to produce a top-rate recreational experience for the Fairfield University community. We pledge to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes recreation as a means to better one's self mentally, physically, and socially. We make it our mission to inspire individuals to lead a reduced-stress lifestyle by maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
Get Up, Get Involved
Club Sports
At Fairfield University, there are over 19 club sports for students to choose from. Club sports are organized and managed by students with the Associate Director of Recreation overseeing membership and dues.
Fairfield Fit
Fairfield Fit is available to supplement your weekly routine with exciting fitness classes (Zumba, Pilates, Yoga). All classes are free to all RecPlex members.
Hours & Membership
The RecPlex is now accepting Fairfield University and Prep faculty, staff, part-time students, full-time contractors, and alumni memberships.
Intramurals
Intramural sports are an integral part of student life at Fairfield University. There are more than 25 different intramural activities, including full seasons, one day, or weekend tournaments. Separate divisions include men, women, and co-ed participation. The Intramural program is administered by student supervisors and officiated by student employees.
Aquatics
The Fairfield University Aquatics Center features an 8-lane, 25-meter pool and is home to the Fairfield University Men's & Women's Swimming and Diving Teams.
Student Employment
