Fairfield’s master's in business analytics program is designed for busy professionals who want to propel their organizations forward through sound strategic decisions based on a keen understanding of data and statistical methods. Students can choose either a fully online program or the traditional on-campus program. This degree is STEM Designated and provides students with the ability to compete for the growing employment demand of jobs in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.

Dolan Admission
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent) or have completed the equivalent coursework prior to beginning the program.

Fairfield Dolan offers a number of programs with a strong focus on analytics. The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), Master of Science in Marketing Analytics and Strategy (MAS), and the Dolan MBA share many characteristics but are each unique. We invite you to compare these three programs to determine what is best for you.
Graduate Fellowship
Fairfield Dolan offers merit-based graduate fellowships that provide substantial financial support towards the cost of tuition. In addition, students who qualify can apply for a competitive scholarship that covers much of the cost of attending. Admitted students are eligible to apply for a limited number of entrance scholarships. These one-time awards are applied to offset the cost of the first semester of study. As these are very competitive, it is best to apply early if you wish to be considered for this form of support.
Women in Scholars Program-for candidates interested in pursuing a Fairfield Dolan graduate degree program. This scholarship also includes a mentoring component with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch.
Synchrony Co-Op Program-for MSBA candidates interested in an immersive internship and capstone research potential with Synchrony Financial.
The Hartford Co-Op Program-for MSBA candidates interested in an immersive full-time internship and capstone research potential with The Hartford.

Fairfield Dolan has partnered with both The Hartford and Synchrony, two Fortune 500 companies, for Co-Op programs for graduate students, particularly those interested in business analytics fields. These opportunities immerse Fairfield graduate students in a real-life work environment, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the employees of the companies on projects. The Programs offer flexible in-person and/or remote positions ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, 3 to 6 month engagements.

Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business boasts experienced faculty who teach students the fundamentals, ethics, and new developments in business on a local and global scale.
Frequently Asked Questions About the MSBA
No. The MSBA program is designed to accommodate a variety of students from different backgrounds. Pre-requisite coursework includes college math and statistics. Candidates lacking sufficient pre-requisites will take Applied Business Statistics and/or Python Fundamentals, increasing the degree requirement to 33-36 credits.
Full-time candidates can complete the program in as quickly as one year.
Part-time candidates can complete the program in as quickly as two years.

Traditional courses are taught as lectures/seminars. Courses offered in other formats are designed to offer the same type of classroom experience as the traditional format. Some classes use online discussion, chats, blogs, electronic portfolios, and more as ways to enhance the course experience. Classes taught fully online deliver lectures through a variety of means, and use any or all of the above methods to ensure student participation, comprehension, and performance.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the cohort is full.
The GMAT/GRE is only required for applicants with low undergraduate GPAs, no advanced degrees or certifications, and no experience. Please refer to our waiver policy.
