Learn the latest techniques and best practices in data-driven decision making. The master’s in business analytics curriculum was crafted by a world-class advisory board of business leaders and faculty with years of experience in the field, ensuring graduates acquire the career-relevant skills needed to make an immediate impact in this field.

Tailor your training by choosing one of the following specialties: artificial intelligence, healthcare, financial planning and analytics, marketing analytics, quantitative finance and accounting (for those with an accounting BS or the equivalent).

Develop the in-demand skillset today’s employers are seeking, including proficiency in tools such as Python, R, Tableau, SQL, and Excel, in addition to hands-on experience in modeling, machine learning, business intelligence, and data visualization. These practical skills will be put to use in a final capstone project — which past students have gone on to present at conferences, publish in journals, win awards, and land job opportunities.

Students who gain acceptance into our paid co-op program will gain real-world analytics experience with one of our Fortune 500 corporate partners. You’ll also have the option to earn a NVIDIA Deep Learning Certification, bolstering your resume even further.

Philip Maymin

Dr. Maymin is the co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Sports Analytics. He is the Chief Technology Officer for Swipe.bet, and has been an analytics consultant with several NBA teams.

Christopher L. Huntley

Christopher L. Huntley

Dr. Huntley holds a PhD in systems engineering and has published several articles in various business and engineering journals. His special interests include big data, Python for business analytics, and database systems.
Jie Tao

Jie Tao

Dr. Tao has a doctoral degree in information systems and helped design the curriculum for the MSBA program. He has published papers in several journals and presented research at premier academic conferences. His special interests include data analytics, data structure, process mining, and deep learning.

Admission requirements

Applicants to the master’s in business analytics program must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent).

Start Your Application

Apply for a scholarship or fellowship.

Fairfield Dolan offers merit-based awards to help offset the cost of tuition. Admitted MSBA students are also eligible to apply for a limited number of entrance scholarships. These one-time awards are applied to offset the cost of your first semester of study. If you want to be considered for these scholarships, it is best to apply early as they are highly competitive.

Women in Scholars Program — For female candidates interested in pursuing a Fairfield Dolan graduate degree. This scholarship also includes a mentoring component with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch.

Synchrony Co-Op Program — For MSBA candidates interested in an immersive internship and potential capstone research with Synchrony Financial.

The Hartford Co-Op Program — For MSBA candidates interested in an immersive full-time internship and potential capstone research with The Hartford.
