Fairfield University’s School of Engineering offers four graduate degree programs, as well as graduate certificate programs in a number of specialty areas. Our skilled faculty will help you advance your career by empowering you to better understand complex issues and work more effectively.

Certificate Programs

STEM Designated

The School of Engineering's certificate in software engineering provides opportunities for qualified professionals with a recommended minimum of three years' experience to enhance their competencies and update their skills in the specialized areas of: Cybersecurity, Data Science and Big Data Technologies, Network Technology, and Web and Mobile Application Development.

Administration & Faculty

The School of Engineering graduate faculty are top scholars and working professionals who are known for both their expertise and focus on mentorship.

Graduate Assistantships

The School of Engineering's laboratories, faculty offices, and administrative offices are located in the University's Rudolph F. Bannow Science Center. Check out pictures of students working in our labs.

  • Engineering Machine Shop Laboratory (BNW 136)

All labs have been serving as multi-tasking areas and contain state-of-the-art computer hardware, integrated into the Fairfield University Network. The new Machine Laboratory in BNW136 contains up-to-date numerical milling and tool room lathe machines supported by the Brinkman Family Foundation.
