Fairfield University’s Executive and Professional Education Center believes that an educated workforce is best equipped to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing, global market. If you’re a professional looking to learn new skills, change career paths, or take your career to the next level, you’ve come to the right place.
Our Executive and Professional Education Center offers a variety of programs designed by expert faculty to help you pursue a new career, advance in your current one, or explore a topic of personal interest. Students can earn their certification in a variety of fields, participate in professional development courses, or rediscover their passion by taking personal enrichment classes. Whichever path you choose, our programs will provide you with real world capabilities to further your career trajectory and personal growth.
Whether you're a working professional or part-time student, Fairfield University offers specialized graduate certificate programs to enhance your resume and advance your career. From creative writing and cyber security to business analytics and educational technology, we offer more than 20 traditional and online graduate certificates in a wide range of fields and disciplines.
Fairfield University’s noncredit courses and certificates provide students and professionals with in-depth knowledge and skills to pursue a new career, advance in their current one, or explore a topic of personal interest. Students can choose from our noncredit professional courses and certificates, which carry Continuing Education Units (CEUs) awarded on a CEU transcript, or our open-enrollment professional trainings and workshops in targeted areas.
Each of our post-baccalaureate and undergraduate certificates provide students with the skills and foundation to prepare for a specific career. Upon successful completion of the required courses, students are awarded a Fairfield certificate and an undergraduate credit transcript.
We appreciate that every organization has its unique education and training needs, and our team is ready to work with your organization to identify learning goals, outcomes, assessments, and delivery models (delivered on-site, online, or through a combination of methods). Program content, length, and cost vary by program.
