Post-Baccalaureate & Undergraduate Certificates

Each Fairfield post-baccalaureate and undergraduate certificate is designed to help you prepare for a specific graduate program or career. These programs will provide you with the foundation needed to succeed in these fields. Upon successful completion of all courses, students are awarded a Fairfield certificate and an undergraduate credit transcript.



The program, which begins each year on or about June 1st, is designed to be completed in one year. Classes are scheduled at night, but certificate students may enroll in daytime classes on a space-available basis. Course offerings vary each semester - check the course schedule for exact dates.


Are you a new small business owner looking to learn the skills needed to successfully run your business? Fairfield University has the certificate to accomplish just that. This 15-credit, five-course certificate is specifically designed to cover the legal, management and technology issues small business owners face daily and it can be completed in just one year!

Interior Decorating

The Interior Decorating Certificate program is designed for students interested in the field of interior design but not in the technical aspects of construction and structure.


The Fairfield University Marketing Certificate provides managers and other professionals requisite marketing knowledge to make informed decisions about the current marketplace and its competitive environment.

MBA Prep

The MBA Prep Certificate is designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree and are now interested in pursuing a Masters in Business Administration but who do not have the required foundational business knowledge or coursework to proceed, and are looking for a sound foundation in accounting, economics, finance, and applied business mathematics

Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health

Fairfield’s Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health (PBPH) program helps college graduates become qualified to apply to medical school. The program is specifically designed for applicants that have already earned an undergraduate degree in any discipline, but have not yet taken the many science and math courses required to qualify for medical school admission.
