Fairfield offers a variety of programs designed by expert faculty to help you pursue a new career, advance in your current one, or explore a topic of personal interest. Students can earn their certification in a variety of fields, participate in professional development courses, or rediscover their passion by taking personal enrichment classes.

Summer Programs

Whether you're a college student looking to catch up on credits, a high school student yearning for a taste of college life, or a lifelong learner interested in expanding your knowledge, we offer dozens of courses for credit, residential high school programs, and engaging youth camps for students of all ages to explore.

Part-Time Student Bachelor's Degrees

Part-time students can earn their bachelor’s degree on a part-time basis in many of Fairfield’s traditional undergraduate majors. Courses are offered in flexible day, evening, online, and hybrid formats, and students receive individual academic advising from start to finish.

Intersession Programs

Academic intersessions at Fairfield offer students an accelerated path of study during spring and winter break. Depending on the time of year, courses are offered in one-week intensive or three-week online formats, affording students the opportunity to get ahead in their studies, catch up on classes, or lighten their course load during the regular semester.

Community Programs

Study Abroad

Fairfield University’s Study Abroad Office works hard at creating program pathways that enhance your major course of study. No matter which American university you attend, you are welcome to study abroad with Fairfield University at one of our seven center programs and/or select faculty-led programs.
