The Women’s Leadership Council

Mission Statement

The Women’s Leadership Council exists to strengthen and support Fairfield University’s network of women including alumnae, parents and friends, engage more women in the University’s mission, increase philanthropy from women for campus priorities, and help our female students succeed at Fairfield and beyond.

Who We Are

The members of WLC are alumnae, as well as mothers of students, female friends of the University, women Trustees and wives of Trustees, and female faculty and staff. We have a shared goal of optimizing the undergraduate experience of Fairfield students, particularly women students, while strengthening the connections alumnae and other women have with each other. We do this by providing networking, professional exploration, philanthropic, and volunteer opportunities, as well as social interactions on campus and across the country.
