Special Notice

Fairfield University is open for in-person visits beginning July 8, 2020! Please be advised of the necessary precautions we will be taking to keep everyone safe in Stag Country:

  • All visitors will be required to wear masks on campus.
  • We strongly encourage visitors to register for a visit in advance. While we welcome walk-ins, if we exceed capacity on a given day/tour, we reserve the right to turn visitors away.
  • While we're thrilled to be welcoming families to our campus, please don't be offended that we will be refraining from shaking hands in the interest of public health.
  • If you are or someone in your party is ill or showing symptoms, please stay home.
  • Interviews remain an important part of our application process. For the foreseeable future, they will remain virtual only.

We are also excited to continue to offer you opportunities to visit us virtually and connect with our admission counselors online.

Experience Fairfield

Soon, Everything Will Click - But First You Have To

Where you choose to attend college is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make - it's four years that can shape the rest of your life. And it's not always an easy choice, which is why we strive to make the application process as easy as possible.

To apply to Fairfield, simply complete the online Common Application. Because we choose to evaluate every applicant from a holistic standpoint, submitting your standardized test scores is optional.

If you have any questions, please contact the office of Undergraduate Admission at either admis@fairfield.edu or (203) 254-4100.

If you are applying for admission to the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies Second Degree Nursing Program, please click here to apply. Do not apply to this program through the Common Application.

How To Apply

The admission process at Fairfield University is holistic. Our belief in the importance of a thorough and careful review of all aspects of your application reflects our mission as a Jesuit institution. We seek to educate the whole person, and our admission practices reflect that goal.

Meet Our Admission Counselors
