The Career Center sends out a weekly e-news with upcoming events and job and internship opportunities. Students should be on the lookout for these important e-mails from Stags4Hire@fairfield.edu and Careers@fairfield.edu.

The Career Closet is available to any students who would like to borrow professional attire for the Career Fair or other professional events. Contact the Career Center at careers@fairfield.edu to make an appointment.

The Career Center hosts a wide range of programs to assist students with career exploration and networking. Students can check Life@Fairfield and e-mails from Stags4Hire for details about these events as well as Career Fairs, Mock Interview Days, and Sophomore Success. Employer events include Stags in the City visits, Info Sessions, Coffee Chats, and Lunch 'n Learns.

Students can reserve a private interview room consisting of a desk and phone in Interview Alley in the Kelley Center. These rooms can be used for in-person, phone, or virtual interviews. Students can contact the Career Center at 203-254-4081 #3 or careers@fairfield.edu to make a reservation.

Interview Prep helps students prepare for job interviews. Students can practice, watch and hear themselves online, as well as select from thousands of questions and even get expert advice on-demand.

The Career Center offers students a chance to have a professional-looking photo taken to create or update their LinkedIn profile. Students can contact the Career Center at careers@fairfield.edu to schedule an appointment.

Liquid Compass is a powerful job search tool to find healthcare jobs. Students can search a comprehensive national database of jobs that fit their criteria such as specialty, employer, and location. Liquid Compass also allows students to quick apply, save searches, and set job alerts!

Fairfield University offers a platform for students to take part in short-term, professional, paid work experiences through Micro-Internships. Unlike a traditional internship, these paid opportunities typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work and can be completed remotely.

Micro-Internships provide a chance for students to demonstrate their skills, explore career paths, and develop professional networks. Students provide immediate support to the employer and gain work experience for future internships and career options. Micro-Internships can include projects across all departments, including sales, HR, marketing, research, operations, and finance.

Students can earn money and valuable experience with part-time jobs that fit your busy schedule. Check out QuadJobs, the app dedicated to connecting college students with part-time jobs in the region. Opportunities range from babysitting to party help and tutoring to internships. New jobs are posted every week.

Students can stop by the Career Center during business hours to have their resume reviewed by Career Peer Advisors and printed on professional stationery.
