Panelists Erin Moran ’05 of Google and Doug Brodman ’05 of Twitter will share insights into the new media industry and advise Fairfield students on how best to prepare for the future.
The Fairfield community is invited to join Richard Greenwald, PhD, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, as he moderates his first Dean Series virtual discussion of the spring semester, titled “Communications and Digital Media: Industry and the College,” on Friday, February 5 from noon to 12:45 p.m.
Event attendees will gain insightful perspectives about the digital media industry from Fairfield alumni Erin Moran ‘05, head of industry education at Google, and Doug Brodman ’05, director of North America agency and platform solutions at Twitter.
During the session, panelists will share their perspectives about the landscape of the digital media industry and offer advice on how students can best prepare for this environment. “The tech world continues to influence how higher education evolves,” said Dr. Greenwald. “I am looking forward to connecting with our Fairfield community to discuss how social media is playing a role in our everyday communications, and the advances of the College’s programming to ensure our students are prepared to manage this new media.”
