One Week Left to Register: Leadership in the Age of Personalization Summit

More than 40 top-level executives from leading U.S. organizations will converge to discuss the collapse of standardization and a nationwide shift to personalization, during a free virtual summit hosted by Fairfield University, Oct. 28–30.

Healthcare, corporate America, and higher education can no longer be viewed in silos anymore... Each sector needs the others, and how we respond to this convergence will determine what our collective future will look like.

On October 28, 2020, hundreds of executives and industry professionals from leading organizations across the U.S. will gather online to collectively discuss the collapse of standardization and an emerging shift toward personalization during a free, three-day virtual summit hosted by Fairfield University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Presented by Glenn Lopez Group (GLLG), a nationally recognized workforce development and business strategy consulting group, the 2020 Leadership in the Age of Personalization Summit will bring together a panel of more than 45 c-suite level executives and industry experts to critically analyze collective learning from the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide social unrest to help leaders shape the future of healthcare, corporate America, and higher education.

“These crises have revealed the fragility of our systems in real time,” said Glenn Llopis, GLLG president and founder of the Leadership in the Age of Personalization movement. “Healthcare, corporate America, and higher education can no longer be viewed in silos anymore. Each sector needs the others, and how we respond to this convergence will determine what our collective future will look like.”

Powered by LightSpeedVT, the summit will be hosted online October 28–30, 2020, and will offer a unique learning experience that combines thought-provoking discussions with artistic storytelling interludes performed by international artists commissioned by the University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Included among the list of special guest artists are Afro-Latina DJ Nina Sol; composer, violinist, and activist DBR; spoken-word artist BAMUTHI, beatboxer and new media artist Reeps One; poet and playwright Steve Connell; yoga instructor and activist Hala Khouri; Taiwanese dancer Huang Yi; and visual artist Adreinne Waheed.

More than 40 top-level executives and industry experts are scheduled to present at this year’s summit and examine why outdated business systems and processes are becoming increasingly ineffective in today’s more personalized world. Speakers will also explore how innovative leaders are already reinventing healthcare, corporate America, and higher education centered on the following core themes:

  • The Overhaul and Restoration of Leadership
  • New Virtual Realities in a World of Brick and Mortar
  • Reimagining Strategy Where Predictability is Unknown
  • The Real Drivers of Transformation
  • Inclusion as a Growth Strategy
  • A Value Equation that Places the Individual in Front
  • The Fall of Benchmarking and the Rise of Individual Capacity

Among the list of national speakers scheduled to present are Fairfield University’s own President Mark R. Nemec, PhD; College of Arts and Sciences Dean Richard A. Greenwald, PhD; and College of Arts and Sciences Associate Dean Scott Lacy, PhD, each lending their years of expertise to the summit’s higher education conversation.

Fairfield alumni Erin Moran ‘05, head of industry education at Google; Rich Miller-Murphy ‘78, executive director of laboratory and medical services at New York Blood Center Enterprises; and Bill Hulseman ‘98, independent academic consultant, are also scheduled to present during the three-day event.
