Fairfield Rising Impact Report

Fairfield University’s largest and most successful capital campaign, Fairfield Rising, exceeded goals and raised nearly $218 million. Now, the University community can read the whole impact report and watch the celebration video online.

“I am pleased and delighted to be able to share with you this overview of our Fairfield Rising campaign; to share with you in more detail the story of what has been a remarkable act of faith on the part of our Fairfield University community,” said University President Mark R. Nemec, PhD, in the opening letter of the impact report.

The 30-page report details the results of the historic campaign and highlights the influence Fairfield Rising had and will continue to have on the people, places, and facilities at the University. Read the full report.

On the heels of the campaign’s close, Fairfield University was ranked #1 Best Regional University in the North by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2019. Fairfield rose from the number three spot last year, signifying its continued upward trajectory. In addition to being recognized for its overall quality, Fairfield also placed among the top five “Most Innovative Schools” category for the region.  

Beyond the U.S. News’ rankings, The Princeton Review, Forbes, Time’s Money magazine and The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education, named Fairfield among the best schools in the nation.
