WELCOME GRADUATE STUDENTS
Congratulations on your admission to Fairfield University for graduate study! On behalf of the faculty, administration and your fellow students, we welcome you into our vibrant community and look forward to helping you achieve your academic and professional goals.
Review and respond to your offer of admission. The University has sent you information concerning your admit status, including any prerequisites or conditions of admission, who to contact for academic advising and any school-specific orientation activities. Be sure to carefully review this information and respond with your acceptance or declination.
Once you accept our offer of admission:
Connect with your Department/Program. Before registering for classes, contact your advisor or department coordinator to discuss program specific expectations, long-term requirements and what classes you’ll be taking.
Register for courses. Log-on to My.Fairfield and click the Register Now icon to sign-up for classes.
Obtain a StagCard. All students are required to obtain and carry a StagCard, Fairfield University's official photo identification card, which can also be used as a debit card, facilities access card, meal card, discount card and print card for the university library and computer labs.
Connect with us online. Like our Facebook page and stay connected and current with graduate student life activities and other campus events. You should also register for OrgSync, Fairfield’s online community for student involvement, where you can to learn about our clubs and organizations and how to get involved.
Living & Transportation:
Make housing arrangements. If you need housing, visit our Graduate Student Off-Campus Housing Hub for information regarding rental properties, carpooling information and roommate searches.
Check out our off-campus shuttle. The StagBus is a free service offered to Fairfield University students to travel into the downtown Fairfield area and other nearby locations.
Graduate Student Services:
Graduate Student Life: The Office of Graduate Student Life seeks to foster a sense of community among graduate students by organizing and planning intellectual, cultural and social events; recreational outings; Jesuit service learning and other activities. Visit their page to learn about the resources available to you throughout your career as a graduate student.
Financial Aid & Assistance: The Financial Aid Office has established several resources to help
students prepare for the financial side of their graduate experience including loans, grants and scholarships.
Dining Options: From dining halls and diners to kiosks and cafés, several dining options are available on campus for grad students.
Safety & Security: Fairfield University’s Department of Public Safety is a proprietary organization with a full-time staff of 27 officers and two state-certified technicians dedicated to ensuring student safety 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Learn more.
