Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival December 4 - December 6

From December 3 - December 6, the annual Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival is lighting up the town! Four days are packed with activities, including the Holiday Gala on Saturday, December 5 with special guest, Patrick McEnroe. All proceeds go to Norwalk Grassroots Tennis, a nonprofit community organization dedicated to improving the lives of youths from broad socio-economic and cultural backgrounds with programs based on the ideals of tennis legend Arthur Ashe. Children's Author Jan Brett at Fairfield Bookstore, Nov. 28

New York Times #1 Best Selling Author/Artist, Jan Brett, will be at the downtown Fairfield University Bookstore, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 5:00pm to give a drawing demonstration followed by a book signing. Her touring bus will be parked outside the Bookstore one hour prior to the event. Most recently, Brett wrote an original twist to a favorite folktale The Turnip - With over 40 million books in print.

New Duke to play at Fairfield Theatre Stage One

Don't miss New Duke at the Fairfield Theatre Stage One on December 3 at 7:45 p.m. or at Sprague Hall, Yale University on December 4 at 7:30 p.m.

New Duke is an exciting eight-piece jazz-rock ensemble led by Fairfield University's own music professor and world-renowned bassist, Brian Torff. This ensemble brings the music of Duke Ellington to life in a contemporary way and combines the power of Ellington's music with the grooves of jazz, funk, hip-hop, and rock.
