Allison (Kopp) Macht-Greenberg ’16 and Lev Macht-Greenberg ’16

Lev and I met at freshman orientation in 2012. We started dating early into freshman year and grew together throughout our four years at Fairfield. We made the best friends we could ever ask for and learned so much during our time there. We were both lucky enough to study abroad in Florence during the fall of our junior year, which was the experience of a lifetime. In 2016, we graduated, moved to Stamford, and entered the workforce!

In March of 2019, Lev proposed. That August, amidst wedding planning, we decided we needed a break from the cold and wanted to embark on a new challenge, so we moved to Austin, TX. We set our wedding date for September of 2020, but due to Covid, we made the tough decision to postpone. While we waited for our day, we bought our house in southwest Austin. On May 28, 2021 we were incredibly lucky to have the wedding of our dreams surrounded by the people we loved most in Kennebunkport, Maine! Our wedding party included 11 of our best friends from Fairfield, all of whom have supported us through every chapter of our lives.

Currently, we live in Austin with our two tiny Bernedoodles - Noodle and Waffle. We’ll be making the move in the next year to Massachusetts, where Lev is from originally, to be closer to family and friends. Fairfield will forever be a hugely important part of our lives and we are so grateful for the people it brought into our lives and the experiences it gave us!
