Since 1998, the annual Fairfield Awards Dinner has remained a beloved celebration of Fairfield, raising nearly $20 million for the Alumni Multicultural Scholarship Fund and other endowment scholarships.

Continuing the tradition of recognizing volunteer commitment to Fairfield, professional excellence, and outstanding leadership, this year’s Fairfield Awards Dinner will honor Maureen Errity Bujno ’90 with the Alumni Service Award. 

Today, as Audit & Assurance Governance Leader at Deloitte & Touch LLP (“Deloitte”), Bujno leads the governance offerings for many of the company’s most complex audit clients. This includes advising on the role of the board, emerging board agenda topics, and leading practices, all in the interest of helping to drive the basic principles of transparency and accountability. She is the author of numerous articles on corporate governance and has been recognized for three years by NACD Directorship magazine as one of the Top 100 Influential Professionals in corporate governance.

A committed volunteer, Bujno joined the Advisory Board of the Charles F. Dolan School of Business in 2021. She served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2009–2015 and was board president from 2014-2015. 

Prior to that, she served for six years on the Trustee Advisory Council. Bujno has lent her talents to the Our Promise Campaign and has been a frequent volunteer for her Reunion committees and the Fairfield Awards Dinner committee, which she co-chaired in both 2018 and 2019. She is active in recruiting efforts at Fairfield, and has attended countless receptions, athletic games, and networking events.

The University has benefited greatly from her dedication, leadership, fundraising efforts, and personal support over the years.
