Join Fairfield StartUp Program Director Chris Huntley, PhD, and mentors to learn more about ways to participate in Fairfield StartUp this year.

Do you have a business idea, or are you looking for a chance to develop your entrepreneurial skills? If so, don't miss the Fairfield StartUp kickoff on September 17.

Learn more about Fairfield StartUp, a year-long program culminating with the StartUp Showcase, a “Shark Tank”-style entrepreneurship competition where students make their pitches to a panel of investors for seed money to start their businesses. More than $30,000 in seed money was awarded last year. The StartUp program lends students a network of successful alumni and local professionals who can help them develop their business plans, or learn more about what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

Fairfield Dolan Executive-In-Residence Jeff Hendrickson, managing director at Greenfield Hill Group, and other professionals serving as active mentors will be in attendance. Can’t make it to the kickoff? Attend the elevator pitch contest or business model workshop later this semester:

Elevator Pitch Contest: October 26 at 10 a.m.
Develop the skills for a quick pitch — Cash prizes!

Business Model Workshop: November 16 at 10 a.m.
Develop your business plan and build your team
