Parents & Families

Welcome

First We Help With The Transition. Then, The Transformation.

You strive to provide a supportive environment for your child. So do we. At Fairfield University, we're committed to fostering a strong sense of community, where every single faculty and staff member has your child's back.

We know that where your child chooses to go to college is one of the most important decisions he or she will ever make. We realize that it's one of your biggest decisions, too, and it's important that you have as much information as possible before making that decision.

These pages will provide you with a wealth of knowledge about the admission process, financial aid, and most importantly, what your child can expect to find inside and outside of the classroom at Fairfield.

Visiting Fairfield

With easy access to major cities (and major interstates, airports and train lines), Fairfield University is convenient to visit. We'd love to meet you, and visiting campus is the best way to get a sense for everything we have to offer. Schedule a 90-minute campus visit, led by our student tour ambassadors. Or, schedule an interview with an admissions representative. Interviews aren't required for admission, but they're a great way to learn everything you need to know about Fairfield.

Parent Programs

The Parent Fundraising program is comprised of the Parents’ Fund and the Parent Leadership Council. The Parents’ Fund is a component of the Fairfield Fund and donations are used to strengthen student life, career services and other programs designed to help our students succeed. The Parent Leadership Council is comprised of parents who are committed to the mission of Fairfield University and make an annual leadership contribution of $5,000 or more.

Parent Webinar Series

As parents, it is important for you to be aware of issues your student may face while in college. All parents, especially first-year parents, are invited to participate in monthly webinars on topics of interest. All you need is access to a computer with audio.
