Fairfield University Vice President for Athletics Paul Schlickmann has announced the six individuals and one team that has been selected as the Fairfield Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The new inductees will be enshrined in an on-campus ceremony on Saturday, April 15.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2023 is comprised of Kelly Boudreau ’12 (women’s soccer), Gene Doris (administrator), Brittany Hunter ’07 (women’s swimming and diving), Beth Loffredo ’06 (women’s lacrosse), Tucker Nathans ’11 (baseball), Monica Yajima ’14 (women’s tennis) and the 1977-78 men’s basketball team.

“From a slate replete with worthy candidates, these six exemplary individuals and one incredible team stood out to our committee for the lasting impact they have made on their respective programs and the indelible mark they have left on Fairfield University and Fairfield Athletics,” said Schlickmann. “From championship success, to accolades and awards, to records that have stood the test of time, the Class of 2023 is an exceptional representation of what it means to be a Fairfield Stag. We look forward to inducting them all officially into the Hall of Fame on April 15.”

Registration is now open for the Hall of Fame ceremony. The event includes a cocktail reception at Leo D. Mahoney Arena followed by the dinner and the official induction of this year's class at the Kelley Center.

Nominations are open year-round for the Fairfield Athletics Hall of Fame. Nominees are vetted and voted upon by a committee of alumni — including current Hall of Famers — as well as University and Athletics administration.
