Divergent Book Series Author Veronica Roth Visits the Quick Center, Oct. 20

Roth will make only Conn. stop at Fairfield University while on tour for her latest novel, Poster Girl, released on Oct. 18.

Celebrating the launch of her latest dystopian mystery novel, Poster Girl, author Veronica Roth will be at Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts from 7 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 20, for a discussion and meet and greet. A #1 New York Times bestselling author, Roth is known for the popular young adult Divergent book series, also a successful movie series by the same name.

Poster Girl is a haunting dystopian mystery, told in razor sharp prose, that explores the expanding role of surveillance on society. Roth tells the story of a woman’s desperate search for a missing girl after the collapse of the oppressive dystopian regime — and the dark secrets about her family and community she uncovers along the way.

Roth is the New York Times best-selling author of Chosen Ones, the short story collection The End and Other Beginnings, the Divergent series, and the Carve the Mark duology. She is also the guest editor of the most recent edition of The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy. She lives in Chicago, Illinois.
