RECONNECT. ENJOY. NETWORK. Register today for Alumni & Family Weekend: it’s never been a better time to be a Stag.

In a few short weeks, Stag Country will be a little fuller than usual — that’s because family, friends, and alumni of Fairfield University will be on hand to help celebrate Alumni & Family Weekend 2021

The annual October tradition will offer a weekend full of fun activities and special events for students, alumni, and families. It all kicks off on Friday, Oct. 15 with a Fairfield Friday Dinner in the Tully and Young Alumni Mug Night at the Seagrape. While a juggling comedy show, movie screening, and DIY canvas workshop round out Friday’s fun, Saturday’s schedule presents a day-long series of events that alumni, families, and students won’t want to miss.

Beginning with a Fairfield Breakfast in the Tully Dining Commons, Saturday will feature President’s Welcome Address & Campus Update, in which guests will learn about updates on campus facilities, athletics, mission and identity, student life, academics, and more. At 10 a.m., the Fairfield community will celebrate our sophomore nursing students as they are formally inducted into the start of their clinical experience during the official White Coat Ceremony in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Class of 2024 nursing students are invited to bring two guests and tickets need to be reserved through the Quick Center box office.

The weekend really amps up at on Saturday with the Friends of Fairfield Rugby Homecoming RugbyFest. This year’s RugbyFest kicks off with the City of Bridgeport Rugby Alliance (COBRA) youth scrimmage at 9 a.m. followed by the Red Rugger Alumni game at 10:30 a.m., special presentations at noon, and men’s rugby matches versus University of Rhode Island at 1 p.m. at Grauert Field. At noon, our annual StagFest kicks off on Bellarmine Lawn, featuring food trucks such as Colony Grill pizza, Super Duper Weenie, Alene’s Ice Cream, Crispy Melt, The Cinnabomb Mini Donut Factory, Fiesta Taco Truck, Garden Catering, Micalizzi’s, Old Post Tavern, PopCentric, Silver Sands Pizza, Uncle G’s Comfort Food, Wind It On!, and Aramark. A wine and beer garden will also be on tap for StagFest, as well as a petting zoo in the Lil’ Stags Zone, a photobooth, a Stags Pep Rally, and live band entertainment.

On Sunday, cap off the weekend with brunch in the Oak Room, Mass in the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius of Loyola, athletic games, and a Glee Club concert to launch its 75th season of music.

Throughout the weekend, alumni will enjoy mini-reunions with friends and classmates, and they'll get to see first-hand what’s new on campus. Parents and families will be on hand to see how their sons and daughters are doing after a couple of months away at college. Friends are sure to enjoy all Fairfield has to offer during this can’t-miss weekend.
