Fairfield is once again hosting the “Teddy Bears with Love” Drive, collecting new teddy bears and stuffed animals, after taking a year off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
After taking a year off due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Fairfield’s Office of Alumni Relations and the Student Alumni Association are once again hosting the “Teddy Bears with Love” Drive. During this long-standing Fairfield tradition, students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends all over the country are asked to donate new teddy bears and/or stuffed animals to give to children with compromised health conditions. Donations will be accepted through Friday, December 10, 2021.
The Office of Alumni Relations launched the “Teddy Bears with Love” Drive in 1999, collecting 500 bears for children across Connecticut. Donations were sent to dozens of local children’s charities, spreading joy from our Stags throughout the holiday season. Continuing this tradition over the years, tens of thousands of bears and stuffed animals have been donated to dozens of children’s hospitals, not only throughout Connecticut but across the country.
To protect the health of the hospitalized children receiving these donations, it is asked that all stuffed animals donated this year be 100-percent new/with tags and, if possible, in their original packaging. All donations must be mailed or delivered directly to the Office of Alumni Relations.

For in-person drop-off, the Office of Alumni Relations is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will also be two in-person donation events taking place.

Join us for our annual Advent Mass at Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola. Bears will be collected in the vestibule prior to Mass. - Fairfield Men's Basketball vs. Holy Cross
Wednesday, December 8; 7 p.m.
