Stags, Have You Registered for Virtual Job Shadow?

Register today for Job Shadow!

Traditionally, Fairfield’s Job Shadow program, held during winter break, pairs students with alumni and parents for a day of rewarding career exploration. To offer this valuable program in the safest way possible in 2021, the Career Center is matching juniors and seniors with alumni and parents for one-hour online informational interviews during winter break from Jan. 4 to Jan. 15, 2021.

During the one-hours virtual informational interviews, students will receive firsthand advice, learn about various professions, and determine how their time at Fairfield can best prepare them for life after graduation.

"Even virtually, students can still receive helpful advice, learn about industries and jobs, and make important connections. These conversations also help alumni and parents promote their organizations, network with potential candidates, and help current Stags get on the right career path," explained Manager of Employer Development Deirdre Bennett.

To register for job shadow, visit jobshadow.fairfield.edu. Alumni and parent applications are due October 25, while student submissions are due October 30.

Visit fairfield.edu/jobshadow for details. This program is sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Career Center.
