Stags to Welcome First Responders to Men’s Basketball Game Next Saturday, Jan. 19

Fairfield Men's Basketball

All emergency services personnel, as well as active duty military and veterans, will receive free admission to the game at Alumni Hall on Fairfield’s campus.

Fairfield University will honor and celebrate state and local first responders during a men’s basketball game against Canisius on Saturday, January 19. The game will be played on campus on George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall.

All emergency services personnel, active duty military, and military veterans will receive FREE admission to the 1 p.m. game.

The game is also a Lil’ Stags Club "Bring-a-Friend Day." All Lil’ Stags Club members will receive FREE admission for themselves and an additional FREE youth ticket for a friend. New Lil' Stags Club members can register by noon on Friday, Jan. 18 for only $10 to receive their free tickets. Visit FairfieldStags.com/KidsClub for more information and to register online.

All other fans can purchase general admission tickets at FairfieldStags.com/TIX.

Events begin at 11:30 a.m. when all children are invited to participate in the Touch-a-Truck event outside Alumni Hall featuring vehicles from the Town of Fairfield Fire and Police Departments, Connecticut State Police, and Connecticut EMS.

In December of 2017, Fairfield Men’s Basketball hosted a First Responders Day and Touch-a-Truck that brought more than 2,400 fans to Alumni Hall for an overtime clash with Old Dominion.
