The Fairfield University Art Museum is always free and open to all, serving as a welcoming space for students, families, and community members to learn, connect, and experience art together.

The Museum is supported by Fairfield University, endowment funds, grants, and the generous contributions of alumni and local supporters who believe in the value of accessible cultural and educational resources.

The museum is closed for all University holidays and during inclement weather.

Admission

Admission is always free, and reservations are not required to visit our galleries.

Faculty interested in visiting the Museum with their students are encouraged to contact Michelle DiMarzo at mdimarzo@fairfield.edu.

Guest Policies

Visitors are required to leave the following in the cloakroom:

  • Backpacks
  • Umbrellas
  • Shopping bags
  • Totes
  • Large purses

Wheelchairs, service dogs, and other aids for visitors with special needs are permitted in the galleries.

No food or drink is allowed.

Bellarmine Hall

The main galleries are located on the lower level of Bellarmine Hall. Parking is available in front of Bellarmine Hall. Handicap parking is available next to the museum’s service and classroom entrance on the lower level of Bellarmine Hall.

Walsh Gallery

The Walsh Gallery is located in the Quick Center for the Arts. Parking is available in front of the building.

Bellarmine Hall Galleries

  • Enter through the University gates, and continue along Bellarmine Road until you reach a stop sign.
  • Turn left onto Fitzgerald Way, and Bellarmine Hall is directly in front of you.
  • The visitor parking lot is on the left.

Walsh Gallery

  • Enter through the University gates, and bear right at the pond.
  • The Quick Center for the Arts is on your left.
  • The visitor parking lot is on the right.

Take Metro-North, New Haven Line, to Fairfield Station - Approximately 70 minutes from Grand Central Station.
