Mike and I met at his ('illegal') beach house on the Point in October 2011 when he was a Junior and I was a Senior at Fairfield. He and his friends lived in the only Junior beach house that year. We had many mutual friends but never previously met. We shared our first kiss on the deck of the Point and many memories throughout that year. Even though I graduated in May 2012, I was lucky enough to get a 'second' Senior Year when visiting Mike regularly while we dated. After he graduated in May 2013, we both moved to New York City. On New Year's Day 2019, Mike proposed on the beach in East Hampton. We were originally set to marry in October 2020 but due to the pandemic, we rescheduled our wedding to April 24, 2021 after almost a decade of being together. We celebrated with our close family & friends in Montauk, NY. Recently, we bought our first home and will be moving to New Jersey in the near future. We have Fairfield University (and Fairfield Beach!) to thank for our wonderful life and future together.
