The Fairfield University Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality is Conducting Outreach for Local Healthcare Organizations

The Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality, located in Fairfield University's Dolan House.

In addition to providing virtual spiritual services for students, faculty, and staff during these uncertain times, the Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality (MCIS) is conducting outreach for local healthcare organizations. For Bridgeport Hospital, MCIS is developing a training program for spiritual directors to accompany and support those on the front lines. This training is designed to address the emotional and spiritual effects of trauma and mitigate immediate and long term consequences. The preparation is also in anticipation of post traumatic spiritual and emotional crisis our students may be experiencing at home and when they return to campus.
