Alvin Sputnik to Splash Down at The Quick

On Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7, the Quick Center will present The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer, an enchanting and thought-provoking tale told through a fusion of animation, puppetry, projections, song and bubbles. The unusual one-man performance will take place in the Wien Experimental Theatre at 6 and 8 p.m. on February 6, and 5 and 8 p.m. on February 7.

Winner of best solo show at the New York International Fringe Festival, and created for an adult audience, Alvin touches on environmental themes and is suitable for older children as well. The New York Times called it “akin to a theatrical Wall-E.”

Tickets are $30, $5 for Fairfield students. For tickets, visit the Box Office, www.quickcenter.com, or call ext. 4010.
