Fairfield University Baseball is in action at Clover Stadium in Pomona, N.Y., this week for the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. The Stags entered the postseason as the top seed on the heels of an unprecedented fourth consecutive MAAC Regular Season Championship.

After a 12-10 setback on Thursday, Fairfield continues tournament action on Friday at 3 p.m. in the elimination bracket against Marist. The winner will play a second game on Friday at 7 p.m. with a place in Saturday's championship series on the line.

Led by Bill Currier in his 13th year as head coach, the Stags are 32-23 on the season and went 20-4 in the MAAC to earn the top spot in the tournament field. Fairfield last won the MAAC Championship in 2016 and made its most recent NCAA Tournament appearance as an at-large selection in 2021, advancing to the final round of the Austin (Texas) Regional.
