Admission is free for all fans to Thursday's 11 a.m. basketball game at Mahoney Arena.

Local school kids from Fairfield, Bridgeport, and surrounding towns will pack the Leo D. Mahoney Arena on Thursday, Feb. 8, when Fairfield women’s basketball hosts its annual Kids’ Day Out at 11 a.m.

The game is free for all fans as the Stags challenge MAAC foe Marist.

Kids’ Day Out events are held nationwide in conjunction with NCAA women’s basketball and other college sports. The events not only provide an exciting field trip for students, but also introduce them to a college environment located in their area. Fairfield University has hosted Kids’ Day Out events annually since 2015.

Fans – including students – do not need to claim a ticket for next Thursday’s game. Seats will be assigned by the ticket office upon arrival. Women’s basketball season ticket holders will be contacted directly by a member of the Fairfield Athletics Ticket Office prior to game day.
