The results of Niche’s 2024 Best Colleges rankings are in and Fairfield University has placed among the best colleges and universities in America once again this year. On the list of Best Colleges for Nursing, Fairfield placed in the top 10 percent at No. 61 out of 774 schools. Out of 828 schools that were included in the Best Colleges for Accounting and Finance in America category, Fairfield was ranked at No. 59, also in the top 10 percent, and was among the top 10 percent of Best College Campuses in America, and the top 15 percent of Best College Locations in America.

Fairfield placed in the top 20 percent of Best Colleges in America, in addition to landing among the top 20 percent of Top Private Universities in America; Best Value Colleges in America; Colleges with the Best Academics in America; Colleges with the Best Student Life in America; Best Colleges for Communications in America; and Best Colleges for Student Athletes in America.

In the site’s review of Best Catholic Colleges in America, Fairfield was ranked in the top 12 percent, at No. 19 out of 160.

Statewide, Fairfield was ranked No. 1 among best colleges for business in Connecticut, best colleges for accounting and finance in Connecticut, and best colleges for nursing in Connecticut. Fairfield was ranked as the No. 2 best college campus in Connecticut and No. 2 best college for communications in Connecticut. The University came in third on both the list of best college locations and the list of colleges with the best student life in Connecticut. Among private universities in Connecticut and best college dorms in Connecticut, Fairfield ranked among the top five.
