— Rev. Denis Donoghue, S.J., Director of the Murphy Center

The Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality invites you to participate this spring in its hallmark ten-week prayer program, Encountering the Living God. No prior religious experience or background is necessary; register today for this unique opportunity to meet weekly one-on-one with a certified spiritual director who will help you grow in Ignatian awareness of how and where God is breaking through in your life.

"The ten-week program," said Rev. Denis Donoghue, S.J., director of the Murphy Center, "is an opportunity to explore 'who I am for God' and 'who God is for me' with a spiritual companion."

All are welcome: the Encountering the Living God program is open to Fairfield students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the larger Fairfield community. Once registered, you will be assigned a director and asked to set aside 30 to 60 minutes each day for prayer and personal reflection. Weekly discussions with your spiritual director will center upon your experiences and insights as a result of this daily contemplation. Spiritual director sessions can be scheduled in person, by phone, or on Zoom.
