Make Your STAGiving Day Plan, April 6

Students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends, make your plan on STAGiving Day —April 6 — One Day when the Stag community will come together as One Fairfield to support student scholarships, innovative research, athletics, diversity and inclusion, spirituality, service, and other critical initiatives.

"This day is about coming together to support current students and faculty, to enhance our University’s growth, and to make a meaningful difference in communities around the world.”

— Walter Halas, Vice President for University Advancement

Students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends: Join the University community to celebrate and support Fairfield on STAGiving Day, Wednesday, April 6. A tradition now in its eighth year, STAGiving Day is One Day when the Stag community will come together as One Fairfield to support important University initiatives.

This STAGiving Day, our goal is 2400 donors in 24 hours. When reached, an unprecedented $1,500,000 in challenge funds will be unlocked to support students’ most immediate needs.

In addition, exciting flash challenges will enable Stags’ contributions on STAGiving Day to go even further and potentially earn extra dollars toward the programs of their choice. There are challenges for everyone: a night owl can kickstart STAGiving Day with the “First in Our Hearts” challenge to earn an extra $250 for the first fund to receive a gift when Giving Day begins at midnight on April 6. Or, anyone can make one of their gifts to the Fairfield Fund and earn an extra $200 for the areas of greatest need. Check out our webpage for the complete list of Challenges to help you make the most of STAGiving Day.

“This year, our Fairfield community has more opportunities than ever to join the celebration on STAGiving Day,” said vice president for University Advancement Walter Halas. “There are more than 50 funds represented in areas across the University including the arts, scholarship, athletics, and spirituality, alongside our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Our community can contribute to our deans' strategic funds, the Office of Student Diversity’s Academic Immersion Program, the Center for Social Impact’s Dream Fund, the Fairfield Fund to support students’ areas of greatest needs, and so much more. This day is about coming together to support current students and faculty, to enhance our University’s growth, and to make a meaningful difference in communities around the world.”

On STAGiving Day, donors can also receive cool, exclusive thank-you gifts.
