Fairfield's baseball and tennis teams will open their MAAC slates on the road.

Coming off of an exciting winter season highlighted by a MAAC Championship and March Madness appearance for Fairfield Women’s Basketball, the Stags’ spring teams are ready to begin their pursuit of conference crowns.

The slate begins on Friday when Fairfield Baseball — the reigning MAAC Regular Season Champion — visits Marist for the start of a three-game set in Poughkeepsie. Action returns to Alumni Diamond next week for a six-game homestand that includes a MAAC series with Niagara from April 1 to April 3. Also this weekend, Fairfield Men’s and Women’s Tennis both visit Monmouth on Saturday to open MAAC play. The Stags are back home on the Walsh Outdoor Courts on Sunday, April 3, to host Niagara.

Next week, Fairfield Women’s Lacrosse starts its quest for a fourth straight MAAC title on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium against Iona on Wednesday, March 30, at 3 p.m. That Saturday, April 2, Fairfield Men’s Lacrosse opens its Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) ledger with a 1 p.m. visit from Hofstra.

Fairfield Softball will play its first eight MAAC games on the road, beginning with weekend trips to Rider and Monmouth on April 2 and April 3. The home crowd gets its first glimpse of conference action on Saturday, April 16, with a noon doubleheader against Saint Peter’s.

For fans unable to make the trip to support the Stags live, all home games in all sports contested on campus are broadcast live by the Stags Sports Network.
