All majors, class years, and innovators are welcome to learn about entrepreneurship, to network with mentors, and to compete to pitch in the Fairfield StartUp Showcase in April 2022.
Students interested in developing their entrepreneurial skills are invited to join the Fairfield StartUp Program Kick Off event on September 29 from 5 – 6 p.m; the event will be held online. Students will learn more about the year-long program that culminates with the StartUp Showcase on April 27, 2022, where students make their pitches to a panel of investors for seed money to start their businesses.
Last year, $26K was awarded at the 10th annual Showcase, where five teams pitched their business plans. Ideas included EarnSpace, a Zoom plug-in and web app that allows for the integration of advertisements, to RinkLink, a yield management solution designed to automate the ice rink industry.
