Register Now for In-Person Summer Camps: Missoula Children’s Theatre

Sign your kids up today! The renowned Missoula Children’s Theatre summer day camp program at Fairfield’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is offering six separate weeks of action-packed, in-person theatre arts for aspiring thespians in grades 1 through 12.

No experience necessary! There’s an on-stage role for all kids in grades 1 through 12 interested in spending a week of camaraderie and theatrical fun this summer at any of the week-long, in-person Missoula Children’s Theatre camp sessions. Each week prepares young actors to take part in a full-scale Friday evening production — complete with costumes, songs, and dance!

Here are the six in-person day camp weeks and performances scheduled for the summer of 2021:

Alice in Wonderland: July 12–16
Take an unforgettable journey with Alice and her friends down the rabbit hole to the strange and whimsical world of Wonderland, and see for yourself why the White Rabbit says, “Nonsense is fun!”

Sleeping Beauty: July 19–23
Join the fun when Sleeping Beauty awakes from the sleeping spell cast by the vicious Scarella to find herself in the middle of a rock n’ roll dream!

Johnny Appleseed: July 26–30
Make new friends as Johnny Appleseed and his buddies journey across the United States sharing the sweetness of apples and true meaning friendship.

Johnny Appleseed : August 2–6
Find out if the grumpy wolf can be won over by the sweet taste of the apples and the kindness of friends as you journey across America with Johnny Appleseed and his buddies.

Hansel and Gretel: August 9–13
Discover the secret of the wondrous Wildwood world of Hansel and Gretel, as you join Hank and Gretchen for an adventure in this original musical adaptation of the classic Brothers Grimm tale.

The Emperor’s New Clothes: August 16–20
Help restore calm to the kingdom when the Emperor values his clothes and other people’s opinions more than the subjects in his kingdom.

Extra, Extra! Extend the fun of summer camp with additional enrichment opportunities. Available after camp ends Monday through Thursday, Extra, Extra! students will receive two extra hours (from 2 to 4 p.m.) of theatre-based enrichment with Missoula directors, working in small groups on collaborative projects.
