U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the Best Graduate Schools has once again placed Fairfield Dolan’s business programs in the Top 25 nationally. The Accounting, Business Analytics, and Marketing programs placed #1 in Connecticut and Finance was #2 in the state, following Yale. Fairfield Egan ascended to Top 3 Nursing Grad Schools in the state.
The Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies and graduate programs within the Charles F. Dolan School of Business have yet again been named among the nation’s best in U.S. News & World Report's 2022 Best Graduate School rankings.
Fairfield Dolan’s master's programs in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, and Marketing were included among the Top 25 in the U.S., on the Best Grad Business Specialty Programs list.
The Accounting program jumped six spots to #14; the Business Analytics program tied with Harvard at #21, alongside UCLA, Wake Forest, University of San Francisco, University of Arizona and Georgia State; Fairfield’s Finance program leapt five spots to #20, tying with Arizona State, Creighton, and Loyola-Maryland; and the Marketing program landed at #18 again this year in a tie with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Fairfield Dolan’s part-time MBA jumped 14 spots to place #2 in the state of Connecticut.
2022 Best Graduate Business Specialty Programs:
- Accounting #14, and the only school in Connecticut ranked in the Top 20.
- Business Analytics #21, and the only school in Connecticut in the Top 25.
- Finance #20, and #2 in the state of Connecticut following Yale.
- Marketing #18, and the only school in Connecticut in the Top 20.
- Part-time MBA #127 and #2 in Connecticut.
Among the Best Nursing Schools that offer Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees, Fairfield Egan ascended 16 spots to #53 nationally, tied with Indiana University-Purdue University, UNC-Greensboro, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Fairfield Egan also placed #3 in the state of Connecticut, on both the list of nursing schools that offer DNPs and those that offer Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees.
2022 Best Nursing Grad Schools:
- #53 nationally, #3 in Connecticut, among schools with DNP programs
- #74 nationally, #3 in Connecticut, among schools with MSN programs
Ranking indicators for the 2022 Best Graduate Schools included quality assessment (peer assessment score and recruiter assessment score), placement success (indicators on employment and earnings), and student selectivity. According to U. S. News & World Report, specialty rankings are based solely on ratings by business school deans and directors of accredited MBA programs. This year, three new specialty rankings were added: business analytics, real estate, and project management.
