Ready, Set, Sweat! Register Today for the CT Collegiate Virtual 5K

The Fairfield University community is invited to join Connecticut colleges and universities for the inaugural CT Collegiate Virtual 5K.

From October 22-25, Fairfield students, faculty, and staff can make every mile count in the CT Collegiate Virtual 5K, a competition between universities across the state. The common goal: to promote healthy activity and engagement, and enjoy some socially distanced fun. Participants are encouraged to wear their school colors in this virtual run/walk/jog. The virtual 5K is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and families of Fairfield University.

Participants can register and receive their virtual running bib at ctcollegiate5k.org. Registration is open through October 25 and is $15 to join. Registration cost includes entry in the race, a personalized racing bib, a t-shirt, a finisher certificate, and prizes.

How to complete the virtual 5k:

  • Complete a 5K between October 22 - October 25. Run, jog, or walk 3.1 miles any time and any place that works for you. In your neighborhood, on campus, your favorite trail, or even on a treadmill!
  • CT Collegiate 5K will ship your official t-shirt directly to you.
  • After completing your 5K, submit your results to your HAKU account.
  • Post a photo to Instagram or share with FairfieldU with #CTRunsTogether #FairfieldU for a chance to win School Spirit Prizes or to be featured on Fairfield's social channels!
