Career Planning Workshop with President of Talent Boost, Oct. 22

Fairfield’s Office of Alumni Relations is partnering with the Career Center to co-host a highly interactive virtual event, “How to Build a REAL Career in a Virtual World," open to alumni, students, parents, and friends.

Fairfield community members seeking career planning advice are encouraged to join the Office of Alumni Relations and the Career Center for the “How to Build a REAL Career in Virtual World” workshop, presented by Claire Chandler '93, a business growth advisor and president and founder of Talent Boost. During this unique and highly interactive discussion, she will provide tools and advice to help individuals develop a candidate mindset to confidently build a fulfilling career. This workshop will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 6 p.m. 

This live Zoom session will grant virtual guests the opportunity to share their specific challenges and receive personalized coaching and feedback from an expert in personal branding, recruiting, and career development. Learn how to navigate the job market by gaining valuable tips on how to prepare for in-person networking, job fairs, and interviews in the post-Covid world.

As a business growth and strategic leadership advisor with Senior Professional in Human Resources certification, Chandler has helped leaders achieve what she calls, “profitable swagger.” Moreover, her experience as an entrepreneurial business owner, people leader, and HR executive allows her to provide tools and advice to all attendees, helping them develop the confidence to begin working toward their career goals.
