The University is still planning for all events after May 1 and will communicate regularly with stakeholders and key communities regarding any further changes or updates.
"As always, our alumni, parents, and friends community here at Fairfield is amazingly dedicated, and contributes significantly to the continued success of Fairfield University. Without you, Fairfield wouldn’t be who we are — we look forward to seeing you all very soon."
— Wally Halas, Vice President of University Advancement
Events and alumni gatherings are a significant factor in creating long-lasting bonds, making new connections, and honoring those who are integral to the fabric of Fairfield University and its legacy. As a community, Fairfield has had to make difficult decisions over the last few weeks, with our first responsibility being to help “flatten the curve” and keep all Stags safe and healthy.
To that end, all scheduled spring events through April 30 have been canceled or postponed. Most significantly impacted during this time frame will be the Fairfield Awards Dinner — originally slated for March 26 — a 30+ year tradition that has contributed more than $19 million dollars toward student scholarship, as well as the Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality Benefit Dinner in honor of Rev. Charles Allen, S.J., originally scheduled for April 25. Both of these events will be rescheduled for a later date.
At this time, the University is still planning for all events after May 1 and will communicate regularly with stakeholders and key communities regarding any further changes or updates.
