Fairfield Dolan’s solid relationship with Synchrony, a consumer financial services company, has yielded another golden opportunity for Master in Business Analytics (MSBA) students: the chance to participate in the Synchrony Co-Op Program, a highly-selective, paid internship program that will be offered to select MSBA students in September.
“This Co-Op Program is a win-win,” says MSBA Program Director Philip Maymin, PhD. “Students will be commuting to Synchrony’s headquarters in Stamford, Conn., working with Synchrony data, and using what they are learning in class to analyze that data and solve typical business problems. They’ll be part of a team, and ideally can use the research they’re doing at Synchrony as their capstone project. And Synchrony will get to know the students well before some may decide to apply for a full-time position.” Interested students can apply to the program over the summer.

Many have work experience, and others are strong in statistics or programming. But the most important quality for success is to have an analytical mindset,” says Dr. Maymin. And coming this fall, students will have the option to take the program fully online.
