Stags Come Home: Fall 2020 Reopening Plans at Fairfield

With the health and safety of our community at the core of our preparations, Fairfield has created several resources to equip our new and returning students, employees, and families with the information they need to prepare for their fall 2020 arrival at Fairfield.

Fall is always an exciting time at Fairfield University as the campus buzzes with the arrival of the Stag community. This year, however, in order to make the homecoming of our Stags as safe as it is exciting, campus has been steadily and methodically prepared to welcome students, faculty, staff, and families back to Fairfield with the necessary precautions to protect our community from Covid-19.

With the health and safety of our entire community at the core of our preparations, Fairfield has created several resources to equip our new and returning students, employees, and families with the information they need to prepare for their fall arrival at Fairfield. The Stags Come Home webpage is our online destination for all things related to the reopening of campus and the fall 2020 semester at Fairfield — from details on a modified move-in process to frequently asked questions on campus life, academics, athletics, and working on campus, Stags Come Home offers an at-a-glance view of what to expect when Fairfield opens its doors in the fall.

Also available for download on the Stags Come Home webpage is a printable campus reopening guide, which provides an overview of the modifications made to campus services and offices, as well as safety and cleaning protocols and new health monitoring procedures.

As Fairfield plans to bring its Stags home for the fall 2020 semester, a safe return to campus life is our utmost priority. Whether you are a current undergraduate or graduate student, an incoming student, a parent or guardian, a faculty or staff member, an alumna or alumnus, or in any way involved in the Fairfield University community, we want to make sure you have all the information you need to remain an integral part of our campus life, and do so as safely as possible.

Please note: for the most up-to-date information on returning to campus this fall, the website address for Stags Come Home information is fairfield.edu/reopen.
