Fairfield Lacrosse Signs Partnership with Lax Sports Network

Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium

All 14 home games are scheduled to air on LSN this spring.

A consistent presence on the Lax Sports Network will be a tremendous outlet to connect with a broader section of our alumni and supporters, as well as an avenue to introduce Fairfield lacrosse to a nationwide audience of avid lacrosse fans.

Fairfield University lacrosse has partnered with the Lax Sports Network to present all 14 men’s and women’s lacrosse home games this season. Games will be available live on the Lax Sports Network and the FTFNext app.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to partner with the Lax Sports Network and For The Fans,” said Zach Dayton, Fairfield’s deputy director of Athletics. “A consistent presence on the Lax Sports Network will be a tremendous outlet to connect with a broader section of our alumni and supporters, as well as an avenue to introduce Fairfield lacrosse to a nationwide audience of avid lacrosse fans.”

Eleven games will be produced by the Stags Sports Network, while three contests have been selected as the CAA Game of the Week and will be produced by the Lax Sports Network. All 14 games will be simulcast live and free of charge on LSN, the FTFNext app, and the Fairfield Athletics Facebook page.

"The competitive men's and women's schedules for Fairfield’s 2020 lacrosse campaign made it an easy decision to include all home games in the Lax Sports Network programming lineup," said Rob Wallace, COO, Lax Sports Network.  "In addition to the CAA Game of the Week, the Stags will bring key Division I match-ups to lacrosse fans everywhere."

The Fairfield women’s lacrosse schedule begins on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 8 when the back-to-back MAAC Champions host Holy Cross at 1 p.m. The following Saturday, Feb. 15, Andrew Baxter makes his debut as the Head Coach of Fairfield men’s lacrosse when the Stags open the 2020 campaign against Stony Brook at 1 p.m.

Lax Sports Network can be found through the FTFNext app in your local store across multiple platforms including:  Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Fire, AppleTV, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.  Download your free experience today and click on the 'LSN' icon or visit laxsportsnetwork.com.
