The Career Center and the Office of Alumni Relations has prepared a lineup of virtual career webinars for alumni who are looking for employment during Covid-19.
Fairfield’s Career Center and Office of Alumni Relations invite Stags to gain valuable career search insight during two upcoming webinars. Alumna Maryann Donovan ’82, president of Impact Personnel will be sharing “Tips for Job Seekers” on Wednesday, August 26 at noon (EST), and Debbie Fay, executive speaking coach and presentations consultant at Bespeak Presentation Solutions, will host “NAILING the Remote Interview: How to Look, Sound, and Be Your Best” on Wednesday, September 2 at noon (EST).
During the “Tips for Job Seekers” webinar, Donovan will discuss ways that job seekers can stand out when searching for a new position. She will explain to attendees how to maximize their LinkedIn profiles, improve networking skills, and efficiently search for employment opportunities on the web. The following week, Fay will teach community members how to have successful virtual job interviews and will cover topics like interview attire, appropriate audio, and techniques for preparing to give your best answers to interview questions.
Since founding Impact Personnel in 1989, Maryann Donovan has maintained a long-term commitment to staffing excellence, and has established wide-ranging ties in the Fairfield County and metropolitan New York business communities. She is a graduate of Fairfield University where she has served on the Alumni Board of Directors. She is a member of Who’s Who in the East and of the prestigious Women Presidents Organization. Currently, Maryann is on the board of directors for the Women's Business Development Council.
