The softball standout’s letter and podcast are available now at FairfieldStags.com.

Standout softball student-athlete Amanda Ulzheimer ’20 is the latest Fairfield Stag to contribute to “Letters to the Herd” – an outlet for members of the Fairfield Athletics community to address their fellow Stags. In addition to the complete letter, which is available now on FairfieldStags.com, Ulzheimer has also recorded a Stags Sports Network podcast hosted by J.J. Duke.

A four-year starter for Fairfield Softball, Ulzheimer hit a team-leading .385 in her abbreviated senior campaign. She was a two-time All-MAAC honoree and earned a place on the NFCA All-Region First Team as a junior in 2019. Ulzheimer, who will graduate this month with a degree in accounting from the Dolan School of Business, was a rookie on the 2017 MAAC Championship Team, leading the Stags with a .342 batting average and 17 stolen bases.
