Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies Information Session, Sept. 28

Prospective students are invited to meet members of the University faculty and learn more about the Egan School's nationally-ranked doctoral, master’s, and accelerated second-degree bachelor’s in nursing programs.

On Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Fairfield University’s Office of Graduate Admission will host an information session in the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies for individuals interested in pursuing a doctorate, master’s degree, or accelerated second-degree bachelor’s in nursing.

The event will address the many facets of Fairfield’s highly-ranked and nationally-accredited nursing and health studies programs and will offer prospective students the opportunity to have their enrollment questions answered one-on-one by representatives from admissions, academics, and financial aid. Program information will be provided about the Egan School’s wide range of programs, including DNP programs in Nurse AnesthesiaNurse Practitioner, and the school’s newest doctoral program in Clinical Nutrition. Other programs include the MSN in Nursing Leadership and the 15-month accelerated second-degree bachelor’s in nursing, among others.

In addition to meeting members of the Egan School faculty and staff, attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the University’s state-of-the-art nursing and health sciences facility and learn more about the wide range of programs available.

Individuals interested in attending the information session can register online at fairfield.edu/info or call the Office of Graduate Admission for details at 203-254-4184. All attendees will receive a complimentary gift and a $60 application fee waiver for the 2019-20 academic year.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive at the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies facility at 8:30 a.m. for registration and a continental breakfast, which will be followed by an hour-long, faculty-led program overview from 9 to 10 a.m. An optional tour of the Egan School facility, including the building’s state-of-the-art Simulation Lab, will begin at 10 a.m., after the information session has ended.

Fairfield University’s Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies is ranked among the best in the country, and is one of only 16 programs nationwide to be certified as a National League for Nursing Center of Excellence. For a full list of available programs, visit fairfield.edu/grad.
